Shannon Biswurm
Owner, Barber & Stylist
Shannon Biswurm has been doing hair since 2006. She is dual licensed in Illinois, having both her Cosmetology and Barber state licenses.
She started out with a humble beginning in the hair profession, cutting and styling her barbie dolls’ hair, which evolved into trimming her own hair and requesting to cut or color her parents' hair, well before she was of age to even attend beauty school. She was also captivated by the overall salon experience as a young girl. Shannon loved going to a salon and feeling pampered from start to finish. The wonderful and relaxed feeling she had each time she left really resonated with her, which further cemented her interest in this line of work. She has always been a people person and is able to strike up conversations/make friends anywhere she goes.
Shannon is extremely passionate, creative, understanding, and unique, while holding her standard of professionalism very highly as well. She has always lived on the wild side, testing her limits, coloring outside the lines, and pushing to be who she wanted to be and not what anyone expected of her. Shannon received her greatest blessing at the end of 2016, when she had her little boy Maddox. Maddy motivates her each and every day to live her best life and in return, to show him he can be whoever he wants to be and nothing is out of his reach. She created Rebel after years of working for big name corporate salons and devoting her time as an educator in the industry. Shannon wants to continue using her talent to allow others to feel great in the skin they are in, while also providing a brand that acts as an everyday reminder to be your very own REBEL.
Javier Lopez
Barber
Javier is an Army Veteran who has been officially cutting hair for two years. However, his journey really began early on, as he was the guy everyone saw in the Military for a fresh haircut. Javier has traveled all over the world and barbering sparked an interest with him when he saw all the different methods of hair cutting and different styles of barbershops across the globe. His home base has always been Chicago where all of his family and closest friends reside. He is a true people person, very down to earth, honest and humble. He is also an extremely proud uncle to his nephew, Lucas.
Jill Ramirez
Stylist
Jill Ramirez has been doing hair since 2008. She had just moved back to Chicago from Florida and decided to try something new. She immediately fell in love with the industry.
Jill specializes in Men’s grooming and can always give you the latest styles.
Jill has a love for being social. She is so laid back and easy to talk to. She has a saying, “She knows a little bit about a lot of different things” so she’s full of things to talk about. Jill will make you feel right at home while getting your hair cut.

Dexter Garcia
Barber
Dexter started his career way back in 2013 when he began cutting his own hair, while working the oilfield. After the boom slowed down, he decided to move back home and attend barber school to obtain his barbers license. His goal in this industry is to provide a customized and unique service to better help his clients. He hopes to allow each one to feel great and leave happier than ever.
